Lynchway is a cosy two bedroom cottage that sleeps 6 close to the historic town mill of Lyme Regis and 150 metres from the beach.
Property description
On the ground floor is a spacious living room, twin bedroom, fully equipped kitchen, dining room, shower room and large sun room.
From the dining room steps lead up to the first floor master bedroom which has a king size bed with an en-suite bathroom and a small annexe suitable for children with two single beds.
The traditional cottage rose garden is south facing, getting full sun from morning to evening in the summer and surrounded by a traditional blue lias stone wall and hedge, providing privacy and seclusion.
Outside space
Lynchway is in the heart of Lyme Regis in the favoured ‘Old Town’. It sits between the river Lym which powers the ancient watermill of the Town Mill, a few steps away in the artisan quarter and the pretty Coombe Street which was the historic main street of Lyme Regis in medieval times.
The nearest railway station is Axminster with a direct service from London Waterloo taking just under 3 hours and there’s a bus service to Lyme Regis running hourly. If booking a taxi it is advisable to book well in advance of arrival.
The nearest airport is Exeter Airport which is about 40 minutes drive from Lyme Regis and has both national and international routes.
N.B. Lynchway is very close to the river Lim so when children are in the garden they must be supervised at all times.
