Teal House is perfect for large groups, especially when booked with Lavender Cottage next door. Located in the historic centre of Lyme Regis, with level walking access to the beach and shops only 3 mins away. Teal House has a large garden with sea glimpses and plenty of sunshine all day long.

Property Description

The ground floor consists of three rooms, the sitting room, dining room and kitchen. On entering the property into the hallway, the sitting room is on the left. It has a television, dvd player and two sofas. It’s a cosy room with an electric wood burning effect stove and a door so that people can watch television without disturbing others in the dining room.

To the right of the hallway is the dining room with seating for 8 people. French doors lead out onto a passageway with steps up to the large garden at the back of the house. Also, leading off the dining room is a well-equipped kitchen with oven, hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave.

There are four bedrooms in total. Two on the first floor and two on the second floor. On the first floor, there is a large master bedroom with a king size bed and sink, a small room with single bunk beds and a bathroom with a shower over the bath and toilet.

On the second floor, there is a double bedroom with sink and another room with two single beds and a sink. There is also a full-size shower with sink and toilet in between the two bedrooms.

There is a public car park (Woodmead car park) only 4 minutes walk from Teal House. We provide one parking permis for our guests and further permits can be purchased from the car park machine or JustPark app.

Outside Space

All outside space is at the back of the house. The garden is wider than the house as it crosses over the back of our other property next door, Lavender Cottage. Most of the garden is laid to lawn but at the back there is a raised patio section with seating and sea glimpses.

Very clean and very well equipped with everything you need. Location was fantastic, literally less than 5 minutes walk to the beach front and shops. The car park was up a steep hill, but typical for seaside towns. Unfortunately our little boy was taken ill on our last night. We messaged Mark to see if we could extend our check out time. He was more than accomodating and managed to delay the housekeeping staff for a few hours, allowing our poorly boy to be a bit better before our long drive home. Thank you for having us!

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Lovely spacicous flat,well equipped. Location for us not ideal as nowhere to walk from the accommodation,so we had to use the car. And proximity to road meant noise at times. No mirror near a socket to enable hairdrying.

Very handy for all of the Jurassic Coast and we enjoyed Charmouth and Lyme Regis on this visit. Mark was SO kind when I left 2 tricky fragile items behind and went out of his way to wrap them superbly and post them back to me at no charge. Hugely appreciated.  Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had a fabulous time at Sundial House. The house is beautiful- people passing by often stop to give it an admiring glance. The location was brilliant; I loved being lulled to sleep by the sound of the waves against the shore. It’s also walking distance  to shops/restaurants. We would love to return in the summer.
