The Oyster and Fish House
Another fine choice for a special meal with amazing views over Lyme Regis, The Cobb and Lyme Bay towards Portland. Listed in the Michelin Guide. The celebrity chef Mark Hix is the owner and inspiration behind the restaurant. Listed in the Michelin Guide.
Harbour Inn
Great for lunch with a good seating area outside next to the beach making it ideal for children to play in the sand while parents enjoy the local beers and ciders and seafood. This busy bar restaurant is dog-friendly outside and in the front section. There is a more formal dining area at the back of the premises. The front area by the bar can get very busy with queues for drinks. The bar area inside is dog friendly.
The Rock Point Inn
New owners St Austell brewery have completely refurbished and extended The Rock Point Inn. They have a good lunch menu and is reasonably priced. There is some outside seating with great sea views and is dog friendly.
The Pilot Boat
Refurbished a few years ago. Looks great but is more like an urban Gastro pub than a seaside tavern. Food is generally good with a pizza oven and a busy open-plan kitchen. Small outside seating area.
The Lyme Bay
A more accomplished dining experience here than in other pub restaurants. This is more of a restaurant than anything else. It has a good outdoor seating area with sea views and is dog friendly.
The Royal Standard
Proper British pub serving pub grub. It is tied to the local brewery Palmers which is common around the area. Great beers and it has a small outside area. It is next to the Harbour Inn.
